A little something for our people
The Team Journal
A little note from us.
Every beautifully prepared home has people behind it. People who arrive early, work around changing weather and schedules, and put care into making a place feel welcoming for someone they've never met.
We know it's not always easy to get everyone together when you're all working across different homes. That's why we're introducing this little Team Journal, a way to share what's happening, keep everyone connected and make sure we all have the same information heading into high season.
There are a few important reminders below, along with a little something lovely we're planning for the team. We hope you'll enjoy having a moment to catch up with us.
A few essentials that make everything easier.
The work you do has a direct impact on every guest arrival, and a few simple routines help the whole team work smoothly together.
As we head into high season, these three steps remain an essential part of every shift. We'll be checking that they're completed consistently so everyone has the information they need.
Sign off in Deputy
When you've finished your shift, please sign it off in Deputy. This keeps our time records accurate and up to date.
Complete Spider Baby Mama
Please complete your property-ready checklist before leaving. This helps us let guests know when their home is ready for arrival.
One final look
Before heading off, check that laundry is finished, essentials are put away and all rooms are beautifully reset.
A little more confidence in every home.
No two Host'd homes are quite the same, and that's part of what makes them special.
Our property-specific housekeeping manuals are designed to give you a clear, practical reference for each home, whether you've cleaned it many times or are visiting for the first time.
As we head into high season, please make using the relevant property manual part of your regular reset routine. It's our shared guide to preparing each home consistently.
Canisters now stay on site.
A small change to keep things straightforward: canisters will now remain at the property and be refilled on site rather than taken away.
- 01 Keep the canister at the property.
- 02 Arrange for it to be filled on site following the approved property procedure.
- 03 Once completed, take a clear photo and share it in the relevant property group chat.
If you're ever unsure about the procedure at a particular home, please check with us first.
Your chance to stay at Enchanted.
We'd love to give one of our team the opportunity to enjoy a night away at Enchanted.
As we head into high season, we'll be recognising the consistent use of our housekeeping manuals and the care that goes into preparing each home.
We'll share more about the dates and how the stay will be awarded once everything is confirmed.
A little more to comeThank you for being part of it.
Behind every arrival is a team of people who care. Thank you for everything you bring to the homes, our guests and one another.
