Open the lid of the washing machine.
2. Find the lint filter on the inside wall of the drum (it sits in a rectangular slot).
3. Grip the top of the filter and pull it out to remove it.
4. Rinse the filter under the tap and give it a quick rub to clear the mesh.
5. Shake off excess water (or pat dry with a cloth).
6. Slide the filter back into the slot until it sits flush and secure.
Quick check: make sure it’s firmly clicked/held in place so it won’t float loose during the wash.
