HOUSEKEEPING CHECKLIST

  • - Confirms you’re on site and safe

    - Notifies the team you’ve started

    - Ensures we can approve and pay you
    - Makes sure the WIFI is working ☺️

  • - Turn on all lights


    - Open doors and windows (if weather allows) to air out the house

    - Check for any guest items left behind


    - Note anything unusual inside or outside the property

    - open OVEN, DISHWASHER, FRIDGE and check nothing inside

    - Make sure dishwasher is turned on and the second dishwasher if applicable

    - Look behind closed doors, on hooks for left items

    - Gather napkins/cloths/teatowels for washing

  • - Check if she’s in her home or stuck
and remove debris (sticks, leaves)
bu lifting her up from her booty

    - Reset if needed using code: 4444

    - Confirm she’s returning to base or continuing her mowing

  • - Is it at the correct temperature of 40 degrees?

    - Test PH strips, Add correct chemicals

    - Does it need water?

    - Fill as needed from hose next to spa and set your phone alarm for 15 mins


    - Clean waterline for any “skin ring”

  • COLLECT - all napkins, tea towels and dishcloths (from both kitchens) that need to be washed

    Tea Towels and dish cloths are fine with towels but please RAGS and CLEANING CLOTHS MUST BE WASHED SEPARATELY.

    STRIPED TOP SHEETS

    - Start wash cycle and set phone alarm for the end time so you can get in the dryer in time.

    STRIPED TOP SHEETS

    Striped top sheets: that are clean get set aside to be reused

    Dirty top sheets: Put into washing basket in central linen room and drop to Claire @ 231A for laundering once the basket is full and top sheet stock is low.

  • STRIPED TOP SHEETS: only need to be removed if marked or dirty.

    - Remove all dirty linen (except select towels used for cleaning)

    - Put into linen bags and in the back of your car or by the front door loading later

    - Spare linen bags are kept in the store room

  • USE YOUR CADDY’S TO COLLECT THE FOLLOWING ITEMS TO REFILL:

    - Laundry powder/liquid

    - Dishwasher powder/tabs

    - Dishwash liquid soap

    - Hand and Body wash

    - Salt, pepper, oil

    - Coffee, tea, pods, beans


    - Bring all to the kitchen and top up ALL supplies from throughout the house


    - Wipe down stainless pump bottles around neck and pump if needed


    - Toilet paper
- top up toilet paper in all bathrooms / one on top of every toilet

    - Return house essentials caddy to storage and items to their designated places


    Nice Extra Please:
Top up water in kettles and coffee machines

    FOR THE FIRE:

    - Check firelighters, matches, gas lighters, kindling, newspaper, cabbage tree leaves are topped up.

  • - Kitchen bins (sometimes x 2)

    
- Coffee machine waste from nespresso

    - Bathroom bins X 4

    Take all rubbish to the side of the garage and put in the large blue bin.

    Now all your essentials are topped up, all dirty linens and rubbish is off the property… t’s time to make the house pretty…

  • - DETAIL CLEANING:

    - Wipe bedside tables, TVs, window ledges, skirting

    - Dust lamps, lampshades and wood features as needed

    - Polish Mirrors and Glass where applicable

    - Arrange chairs or stools as needed

    - Towels go in last … they signal a finished and signed off bedroom suite

  • TAKE BATHROOM CADDY WITH TRIGGER SPRAYS, MOP, BUCKET AND CLEAN:

    - Showers & showers WASTE TRAPS

    - Dust all ledges

    - Surfaces, mirrors, floors

    - Fold toilet paper as you wish

    - Arrange the hand towels, bath mats and face cloths: this signals bathrooms are signed off

  • - Empty dishwasher

    Clean and check:

    - Oven

    - Microwave

    - Fridges x 2

    - Toaster - remove crumbs

    - Drawers and under cupboards… check they are laid out nicely, clean and tidy and pot lids clean and pans clean (peeps don’t always wash pans well)

    - Check under kitchen sink is tidy and extra dish cloths and tea towels

    - All wooden knives are placed in knife block and not in drawer

    - Oil, salt & pepper arranged nicely in kitchen

    - Top shelf on the left has the plunger and coffee in jar.

    - Shelf on right has glasses and coffee cups

    - Oven mitt is hanging side of oven

    - Set dining table (if required – guest count will be in your shift notes)

  • WASHING MACHINES, DRYER & LAUNDRY SINK

    Final tidy of laundry area:

    - Wipe down washers and dryers

    - Double check that lint filters were cleared earlier

  • Reset Lounge as per photos.

    Couches aligned and poofed and cushions lined up in correct colour order and staging.

    Wipe coffee table

    Place tv remote on top of TV Bar

    Arrange beige throw on ottoman

    Dust around fireplace.

  • Vacuum throughout and mop where needed in bathrooms.

    Vacuum and mop are kept in storage cupboard to right of kitchen.

  • IT’S ALL ABOUT FIRST IMPRESSIONS…

    ENTRANCEWAYS, FESTOON LIGHTS, FIREPIT…. AND A LOVELY WELCOME:


    - Sweep all entrances

    - Remove cobwebs from doors, lights

    - Confirm exterior lights are functioning AND turned on for sensors

    - PUT KEYS IN LOCKBOX & SCRAMBLE

    - Drop off dirties to linen shed

    - Clock off
