HOUSEKEEPING CHECKLIST

  • - Confirms you’re on site and safe

    - Notifies the team you’ve started

    - Ensures we can approve and pay you
    - Makes sure the WIFI is working ☺️

  • - Turn on all lights


    - Open doors and windows (if weather allows) to air out the house

    - Check for any guest items left behind


    - Note anything unusual inside or outside the property

    - open OVEN, DISHWASHER, FRIDGE and check nothing inside

    - Make sure dishwasher is turned on

    - Look behind closed doors, on hooks for left items

    - Gather spa towels/cloths/teatowels for washing

  • - Is it at the correct temperature of 40 degrees?

    - Test PH strips, Add correct chemicals

    - Does it need water?

    - Top up with the extendable hose - fill to three fingers above the lights and highest corner jet.

    - Fill as needed from hose next to spa and set your phone alarm for 15 mins


    - Clean waterline for any “skin ring”

    -Check there are no stones and sand on the bottom of the spa. Use the pump provided if needed.

  • COLLECT all the beach towels and dishcloths (from both kitchens) or cleaning cloths that need to be washed.

    Tea Towels and dish cloths are fine with towels but please RAGS and CLEANING CLOTHS MUST BE WASHED SEPARATELY.

    - Start wash cycle and set phone alarm for the end time so you can get in the dryer in time.

  • - Remove all dirty linen (except select towels used for cleaning)

    - Put into linen bags and in the back of your car or by the front door loading later

    - Spare linen bags are kept in the store room. Key is in the ottoman in the entrance hallway.

  • USE YOUR CADDY’S TO COLLECT THE FOLLOWING ITEMS TO REFILL:

    - Laundry powder/liquid

    - Dishwasher powder/tabs

    - Dishwash liquid soap

    - Hand and Body wash

    - Salt, pepper, oil

    - Coffee, tea, pods, beans


    - Bring all to the kitchen and top up ALL supplies throughout the house


    - Wipe down stainless pump bottles around neck and pump if needed


    - Toilet paper
- top up toilet paper in all bathrooms / two on top of every toilet

    - Return house essentials caddy to storage and items to their designated places

Top up water in kettles and coffee machines

    FOR THE FIRE

    - Check firelighters, matches, gas lighters, kindling, newspaper, cabbage tree leaves are topped up.

  • - Kitchen bins

    
- Coffee machine waste

    - Bathroom bins X 2


    - Laundry LINT & WASHING MACHINE LINT

    Take all rubbish to south side of house and appropriate bins

    Now all your essentials are topped up, all dirty linens and rubbish is off the property… t’s time to make the house pretty…

  • SUITE ONE: KING

  • - Detail cleaning:

    - Wipe bedside tables, TVs, window ledges, skirting

    - Dust lamps and wood features as needed
    - Polish Mirrors and Glass where applicable

    - Towels go in last - they signal a finished and signed off bedroom suite

    • Clean shower cubicle with Bio spray.

    • Make sure you check and clean the shower waste and lift up to clean inside the trap

    • Clean all tracks of soap and dirt

    • Polish all chrome tapware

    • All glass and mirrors to be cleaned with the glass cleaner

    • Wipe down all surfaces of the vanity including the front of the draws

    • Clean toilet with the toilet cleaner provided. Give it a good scrub making sure you clean behind the toilet and around base of toilet.

  • -Reset Lounge as per photos.

    -Couches aligned and poofed and cushions lined up in correct colour order and staging.

    -Wipe down all side tables

    -Toys and games in the buffet to be tidied up

    -Place tv remote on top buffet

    -Wipe down dining table and chairs

    -Dust light shades

  • -Make sure laundry area is nice and tidy.

    -Sink has been cleaned and clear of all lint, hair and dirt.

    -Empty Lint from rubber casing (this peels back and catches extra items left in pockets etc)

    -Sweep garage floor if needed

  • -Vacuum all floors making sure you use the correct vacuum fitting for hard floors and the correct fitting for the carpeted areas.

    -Mop the floors
