HOUSEKEEPING CHECKLIST
-
- Confirms you’re on site and safe
- Notifies the team you’ve started
- Ensures we can approve and pay you
- Makes sure the WIFI is working ☺️ -
- Turn on all lights
- Open doors and windows (if weather allows) to air out the house
- Check for any guest items left behind
- Note anything unusual inside or outside the property
- open OVEN, DISHWASHER, FRIDGE and check nothing inside including second fridge in laundry
- Make sure dishwasher is turned on
- Look behind closed doors, on hooks for left items

- Has it been cleaned?
- Is the area tidy, wood stacked, chairs tidy?
- Is the gas bottle full?
- Have the utensils been cleaned and are back in the top kitchen drawer?
- If it hasn’t been cleaned turn it on and set your phone alarm for ten minutes to allow it time to heat up so you can scrape clean with the BBQ brush.

COLLECT all the Tea Towels and dish cloths for washing.
Please note - RAGS and CLEANING CLOTHS MUST BE WASHED SEPARATELY.
- Start wash cycle and set phone alarm for the end time so you can get in the dryer in time. -
- Remove all dirty linen (except select towels used for cleaning bathrooms)
- Put into linen bags in the front of laundry ready for loading later
- Spare linen bags are kept in the linen cupboard.

COLLECT THE REFILL BOX FORM THE LINEN CUPBOARD BOTTOM SHELF TO REFILL:
- Laundry liquid pump
- Dishwasher powder/tabs
- Dishwash liquid soap
- Hand and Body wash
- Salt, pepper, oil
- Coffee, tea, pods, beans
- Bring all pumps to the kitchen and top up ALL supplies throughout the house- Wipe down stainless pump bottles around neck and pump if needed
- Toilet paper - top up toilet paper in all bathrooms;3 in kitchen toilet
4 in basket in bottom bathroom/2 in drawer
3 in master suite bathroom- Return Refills Bucket/Container to linen cupboard and items to their designated places
PLEASE REMEMBER: Top up water in kettles and coffee machinesFOR THE OUTDOOR FIRE
- Check firelighters, matches, gas lighters, kindling, newspapers are topped up.

Take all rubbish to LARGE RED BIN outside laundry exit over driveway
Now all your essentials are topped up, all dirty linens and rubbish is off the property… t’s time to make the house pretty…

- Detail cleaning:
- Wipe bedside tables, TVs, window ledges, skirting, dressers
- Dust base and legs of leather recliners and foot rests
- Polish Mirrors and Glass where applicable - bulbs on decorative lamps
- Use the electric green hand duster on all louvers/shutters and for hard to reach areas
- Towels are rolled and go in last - they signal a finished and signed off bedroom suite

- Empty dishwasher
- Check oven is clean
- Check grease catchers in extractor are clean - pop through a dishwasher cycle when needed to keep clean
- Clean and present coffee station as per photos
- Clean aluminum base of milk frother in case of any spilt or burnt milk
- Wipe down all kitchen cabinets, fridge and dishwasher with polishing cloths and buff where needed on stainless steel
- Use the stovetop ceramic cleaner when needed to protect surface
- Make sure glassware is all lined up in sets or 4, 6, 8 :)
- Double check alll drawers are tidy, lids on pots, no crumbs in drawers, etc
- Wipe down dining table and chairs and dust all angles of dining chairs
- Use a damp cloth to wipe down all log furniture on edges where dust settles
- Tidy up kids bookshelf and kids toy corner so items are neatly presented
- Polish bulbs on decorative lamp when needed
- Clean top of 3 brass lamps in kitchen when required so dust does not build up sticky
- Check swing cupboard is tidy and clean
- Pop choping and serving boards on tray to right of stove
- Slim cupboard houses blender up top and platters down below
- Clean, spray and wipe top of extractor above oven when needed so does not become dusty

- Use bio shower on glass in showers, clean and wipe streak free and use chemco on shower traps and stainless to removes any soap scum and build up.
SHOWER TRAPS!
- Use little nespresso spoon in cleaning caddy to twist downstairs trap and lift up to clean inside after every stay
- Master suite - lift the long trap up and remove to clean properly on all sides and inside trap as well. If there is build up and hair, dispose of in bin and use chemco to polish stainless steel base and unit.
- Wipe down all door seals from soap build up
- Clean toilets with toilet spray and scrub where applicable
- Wipe down cupboards and polish chrome taps.
- Clean around waste in basins
- In master suite shower use mop to mop condensation on high wall above door

Vacuum and steam mop all bathrooms, and hard flooring making sure to get under the kitchen table, lounge chairs and behind furniture where applicable.

- Wipe spider cobwebs that cheekily pop up around entranceway and lockbox and sliding door corners
- Make sure all doors are locked throughout the property form the inside.
NB // On a hot day the north facing single door is very hard to lock but by night it is fine when cools down :)

- Do one last final check walk through and make sure all is set and pretty… none of your persoanl items left behind and all blinds down to stop heat if it is a hot day.
- Double check towels are on all beds and and tea towels and dishcloths are out.
